Hilly Towne Restaurant (Chinese Seafood)
Located somewhere off Jalan Tun Sardon between the town of Balik Pulau and Paya Terubong. Halfway along Jalan Tun Sardon, you will come across a rest area with several food outlets. Turn in and go to the right, follow the Hilly Towne signboard. It's about a hundred meters from here. Built on a hill slope, over looking the town of Balik Pulau and it's surrounding villages. At the far distance, it's the island of Pulau Kendi.
Bukit Genting Restaurant (Siamese food) From the city, head south towards the airport, when you reach the junction, go straight towards Teluk Kumbar, once you reach Teluk Kumbar / Gertak Sanggul junction, go straight again through a few kilometers of winding road that leads to Balik Pulau. Somewhere along this winding road, watch out for the Restaurant's signboard. (there a cylindrical cement water container on the right if not mistaken). Once you reach the Restaurant's signboard turn right into the cemented hill path. Follow the direction all the way to the top. This restaurant is situated on a plateau over looking Pulau Betong / Balik Pulau on the right and Teluk Kumbar on the left.
Seri Pantai Ikan Bakar (Malay Seafood)
Teluk Tempoyak Sea Food (Malay Seafood) A Malay seafood serving Ikan bakar, crabs and prawns. Most of the foods serve here a little bit spicy. By the way of the coastal road, head straight all the way towards Batu Maung. After reaching the last traffic lights in Batu Maung (crossroad), go straight a little bit further. Turn left into Jalan Tempoyak, following this winding road to the fishing village of Teluk Tempoyak. SEA FOODS IN BUKIT TAMBUN Bukit Tambun is on the mainland. about half an hours journey from the Penang Bridge by using the North/South highway. There are several sea food outlets in this tiny fishing village. Of the many sea food outlets here, Gee Seng Restaurant is more popular. Pinang Fisherman's Wharf Located at the end of the Penang bridge coastal road leading towards Batu Maung. It offers Buffet lunch for only RM 10 from Monday To Thursday, and RM 12 on Friday and public holidays. Daily set lunch from as low as RM 33++ for 2-3 person and above.
